Time To Get Hyper!
Are you ready for this??? Take the Ducati’s twin-cylinder power and mix it with the lightweight sportbike feel and you get the new Hypermotard 796! With its lower seat height of 825mm (32.5 in) and dry weight of 167kg (368 lbs), the Hypermotard 796 will be great as a daily commuter or tearin’ it up on the open roads!
It’s got a completely new engine that produces 81hp (59.6kW) of power and 55.7lbs-ft (7.7kgm) of torque for a smooth ride. Also features an APTC ‘wet’ clutch which is a great advantage during those stop-’n-go traffic or during long road trips.

Riding The S1000 RR
Great news! There is a two-week international dealer meeting currently being held in Spain to showcase the European version of the new BMW S1000 RR. Lucky for them, the EC-spec bikes are already in production and will be delivered to European dealers pretty soon.
Unfortunately for us, the U.S. dealer meeting won’t be until the end of January with pre-sell bikes distribution immediately after. While we wait and twiddle our thumbs, here are some first-hand recount from dealers about their exciting test ride!

A Ducati This Way Comes
The rumors are true! There’s still not much information but the hyped up 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200…but it definitely is on it’s way! Some of the details on this upcoming adventure tourer include half-guards, mirrors using a similar mounting system as the Streetfighter being out and over the guards, LED accented headlight and a 1198cc Superbike motor!

Another Satisfied Customer!
Duane is back from his 4200 mile trip on his new R1200GSADV! Here’s a letter he sent out way.
Harrison, Clinton, Kirk & Jimmy:
Thank you for all the help getting me going and on the road with my new 1200GS Adventure. The trip went really well, had a great time, and really got a lot of miles to just unwind and relax. A very big part of being able to unwind and relax is having equipment that just does what it is supposed to and that is exactly what you guys got me. The bike, all the accessories, and all the gear that you guys either sold me or told me what to get worked perfectly, right down to the amount of oil I would need to bring for the trip. Kirk you were right, I didn’t need any of the tools that I bought but Harrison definitely steered me toward what is probably some of the nicest kits out there.
California, Oregon, Washington, and BC…3366 miles on the first trip and 4200 total on the bike already and not even a sneeze from the bike. Twisty paved roads, fire and NPS roads, mud, rain, below freezing temps on several passes, several roughly paved trails to give the suspension a good workout and the more I ride it the more impressed I am with the whole package. I can’t say that I have tortured the bike as some do but I have definitely put it through a wide enough range of riding to begin to gain a better appreciation of how well thought out and designed the bike and accessories are.
