With summer comes the touring season. Time to visit the beautiful places we think about all year. But, we are not the only ones making use of the roads. Construction and road repair are also in their high season, which means flats are usually an inevitable part of a big ride. First, keeping track of your air pressure is the number one way to ensure proper wear and proper handling. We recommend a dial gauge; they are accurate and can stand up to life on the road. Remember that temperature and elevation will cause massive fluctuations in your tire pressure so check it often.
The Cycle Pump EZ Gauge is one of the best dial gauges available. It features a 12-inch flexible hose; which makes it easy to get behind panniers or bodywork.
